    It's been about a year since I've been back home.  Moved to Tokyo and have been craving pizza since we've left.  Came back to NYC to visit family and went on a hunt for the right NYC pizza to kill the craving.  After reading reviews, I went to Famous Famiglia Pizzeria and this pizza place didn't disappoint.  We got two slices each, garlic knots and mozzarella, and pepperoni dense square slice.  

    Crust is perfect, they use the right amount of cheese and sauce.  The only negative is I couldn't eat more!

    Was in NYC for a trip and my son wanted to "experience" New York Pizza. Let's be clear, we're from Chicago and pizza is kind of a religion in Chicago. My son felt that he needed to try some pizza from "the dark side" so that if he was ever to engage in debates about Chicago pizza vs New York pizza he would be well educated.

    I ordered through the Yelp app and they delivered to our hotel in about 40 minutes. Impressive. Even brought it up to our room. The pie arrived warm and ready for eating.

    This place is the real deal for New York style pizza. Greasy, cheesy, large triangular slices and easy to fold. Really tasty!

    I'm not sure it swayed our allegiance to Chicago style pizza, but if you're in NYC and want the true New York experience you can't go wrong here.

    Best pizza you will ever put to your lips hands down!! Ya can't go to Fanous Famiglias without trying their white pizza and Margarita pizza. My mouth is watering just thinking about it!

    This is my go to place for lunch/dinner when I'm at work and craving pasta or sausage/pepper roll! I love love their spaghetti alla vodka (its so serious i can eat a whole plate!!!) i've ordered food thru yelp from here and even went in person to order. Food and service is exceptional each time. The guys at the pizzeria are friendly (and handsome too lol!) whenever tourists asks me for somewhere good to eat i always direct them to this spot!
